: Bleak Seasons is the best out of the entire series next

The first three are still my favorite, and I think The Silver Spike is the weakest entry. My only problem with Bleak Seasons was that it jumped around too much (damn it, Murgen) and there's all sorts of symbolism and metaphor(?) which doesn't make sense yet. Then similar imagery shows up in later books and you try to match it up with the symbolism in Bleak Seasons and it doesn't quite work and then my brain melts and I die with a red ichor leaking out of my nose. Well, at least there's freedom in making metapfhor.
