That's absolutely right... but also, the Watcher would try to ensure his own cause. Which would be to keep Rabican in reanimatable condition.
At that point, we have to look at who has a better insurance policy. Although I hate to say it, the Watcher has some bad-ass insurance, being nigh-all powerful and such. Rabican probably put up quite a fight but he did get defeated. Something tells me his shade is roaming around the lands of Myth still...
