In Response To: HOW MANY LEGIONS (Unkfolt)

Well, if you want to use the Traditional Legion...each one would be made up of 1000 core troups (Warriors, in replacement of the Roman Legionaire) and 5 groups of 200 Auxialiries (Archers, Dwarfs, and the like in Myth)

Obviously, however, these numbers wouldn't work. It wouldn't account for the Berserks, Journey Men/Heron Guard, etc etc. So it obviously needs to be a different set up.

However, unless someone else can remeber something I can't...it's impossible to say how many Legions there are. Simply saying the Seventh Legion obviously doesn't mean there is seven of them...it could be more, or it could be less. Roman Legions, if the whole Legion was destroyed, were not recreated...so for example they would have the First, Fourth and Ninth Legions. The others may have been lost, disbanded, or otherwise destroyed and new ones made to replace them.
