: The Shades cannot have been members of the Nine. Remember
: this quote: "Two of the Nine were killed. Which
: makes them something like the Three if you also
: subtract Cu Roi and Murgen who did not survive the
: destruction of the Tain, and the others who have died
: this year." So that means 6 of the Nine (2 plus
: 2 plus at 2— other s ) only just died this
: year. I somehow doubt the Shades only started to
: appear in the 17th year of the war.
This being said, I revert to my first opinion:
The other members of the nine either
1. Died in the previous years of the war
2. Were too minor to be mentioned
The same thing goes for the mysterious 6th Fallen Lord- Bonesplitter(?) who was never mentioned once in the game. Possibly killed in previous battles. But why was such a feat never mentioned? And remember the quote from the game: "We have never before challenged one of the Fallen, and won"
This is strange. Perhaps Bonesplitter was involved in one of the many rivalries that took place in the Fallen Lord's ranks, or maybe another force killed Bonesplitter?
