A swarm unit? I kinda had an idea like that for my first choice for the previous Asylum unit. I was going to have a Soulblighter's raven with a LPG of a group of ravens around it... but in the end I had problems. When an explosion happens next to my raven flock it made my raven unit stay on the ground instead of flying over it. And about the teleporting stuff. You don't really need script for the unit to return... but if I were to place that scripting... I could make multiple scripts for each same teleporting unit on each team so each teleport in the right places. Sorry I took a while to respond... I went home and the computer at home hasn't not been fixed yet.
