All Myth needs in order to survive is to be freeware'd (not necessarily open sourced), and a Linux port would help as well. The only reason its declined is that its not on the shelves anymore & you can't legally download it. Were it to be freely available it would appeal to a whole new audience, and a more discerning and faithful one than the sector that buys new flashy games off the shelf.
Who knows ... mb one day.
