: Hm. Or perhaps the Mauls and Oghre were simply different
: races which sprang from the same general genetic
: origins, like Humans and Fir'bolg. And if a Maul looks
: like an Oghre to human eyes, consider how much like a
: Fir'bolg a Human must look to Maul eyes.
Call me ignorant (everyone else does), but I don't remember seeing anywhere about humans and fir'bolg being related beyond a similar appearance. And appearance isn't a definitive means of saying that two species are related. Hyenas may look like dogs, but they're more closely related to mongooses. Seriously, does it anywhere say that fir'bolg and humans share a common origin? And if the folks who made myth 3 really intended for the oghres and mauls to be related, a concept which has no precedence in previous myth games, they should have their eyes gouged out with lobster forks.
