I agree... gothmog's ideas are possible but TBC has all those good people being "Taken" and thusly transformed into servile pawns of the Lady (Whisper and Feather) and of course their predecessors (Limper, the Faceless, etc.).
The extent of the saturation of ideas and names from TBC into Myth is too extensive to ignore. If Myth, however, existed intact without TBC ever having been written, goth's ideas would be dead-on.
