: When people mention who would win in a one-on-one fight,
: the Watcher or "___?" I believe such
: questions are pointless. Being one of the the greatest
: in Myth means not just holding your own in personal
: combat, but commanding an army with skill as well.
But being able to hold your own in personal combat is also an important measure of power. The greatest general in the world may be completely helpless if his army isn't around to aid him.
: Perhaps the Watcher "barely survived" because
: he was bested 1on1, but his army defeated the
: Deceiver's & then came to his personal aid. If
: that is the case (though I don't like to think it)
: then the Watcher remains victorious for -1- surviving,
: and -2- smashing his enemy's army.
See my response to Silicon Dream's message for my thoughts on this. Naturally, it's mostly assumption, but the room Bungie leaves for assumption is what makes this game fun to discuss.
: As you may be able to tell, the Watcher is my favorite
: too.
Yeah, lotsa people seem to like the Watcher best. I personally just like how this guy seems to have been around forever (as far as I know, he's the oldest being you see in the game). And although I've complained about the Watcher not being in the game enough, that might actually make him cooler. He's sort of a mystery in that you the only thing you know about him is that he's insanely powerful.
: Btw, what is your email address, Entity?
Unfortuneately, I'm currently without an email account. The only problem is that I'm far from tech savvy and road runner does not make it easy to set up an account, but hopefully i'll have it up soon.
