In Response To: Re: Why the Watcher is Myth's most powerful charac (Heron Guard King)

: Don't forgive that Connacht/Balor was the most powerful
: archmage in the myth history ever known. He destroyed
: Trow Empire(yeah, yeah using Sunhammer), killed Mjarin
: and Moagim Reborn, impresions myrks and he was the
: first human that survived myrk attack. And Balor:
: controlled all fallen lords(incluiding Watcher), And
: only one of the eblis stones could stop him(remember
: his sword attack in myth TFL). So watcher wasn't the
: most powerful archmage, Balor was.

But even with all those accomplishments, he could still only imprison the Watcher with the help of his army and some artifacts (if MIII is anything to go by, tho i'm not sure that it is). Also, The Watcher may've agreed to serve Balor simply because he saw an opportunity in it for himself. Or he may have remembered how this guy had defeated him as Connacht (again, with the help of an army n' artifacts) and he didn't wanna risk losing his other arm. And you say Balor controlled the Fallen lords, but it seemed like The Watcher was someone that Balor had very little actual control over, as he was responsible for almost all the infighting we hear of. Perhaps The Watcher was fighting alongside Balor simply because they both wanted the same thing: the extermination of the light.
