: Except for the whole already-being-immortal thing, and
: thus the lack of need for any kind of self-mutilation
: or human sacrifice.
I explained that.
: I still think the Mazzarin's Crypt thing is just too
: stupid. If he died and got turned into a Shade, then
: he should be EVIL and under control of the Watcher.
there are ways of explaining that away, why so you think he's hiding in a crypt? Cos of the local amenities?
: It's not that he shouldn't be evil back then - being one
: of the ancient three doesn't mean you were evil, Damas
: certainly wasn't. It just means you were around back
: then. But if Myrdred was around so long ago, he'd
: clearly be one of the ancient ones.
Though that is pre-release info, which although is higher than Myth III canonically, it still isn't perfect. And just because someone isn't "ancient" doesn't mean that they're not really really old, the Ancient's might be from waaaaaaaaay back in the Age of Reason, and the new kids only tsch 1000 years old.
: I actually had a really scary creature called an
: Ashwraith designed, something like a Mahir made of
: smoke instead of shadow, that burned the ground it
: moved upon and took a humanoid cloud-form to throw
: terrain-igniting fireballs.
Nice, bit high fantasy though.
: If you took out it's ranged attack and made it slower it
: might actually make a decent Wight replacement... a
: cloud of ash slowly drifts toward you, encircles your
: feet and then the ground you're standing on bursts
: into flames.
What I though for a wight replacement was suicidal Dwarves, either your own, or Cultists, the disadvatages over would be no pus, advantage, their quicker mb, or the can defend themselves.
If they mention Stong even in passing it would be kinda cool.
