: I still do. I allways saw SB as one of the greatest
: swordfighters ever, and it would make sense for a
: swordfighter of his skill to be in the elite Heron
: Gaurd.
Doesn't he wield a glaive in TWA though? As someone who does fight with a sword, I can say that being good with them means jack when you're wielding something else.
Of course, if he does wield swords in TWA, I'll shut up.
: Though you know my opinion of GURPS, and I still think
: that If the Myrks were so powerful then Llancarfan
: should be the only city left.
True, it does add desperation to the struggle. Maybe the Avatara were based in Madrigal before it fell- and had to flee to Llancarfan?
: That is a problem, maybe replace them with some sort of
: thrall with spears. And maybe they should get rid of
: the Wights just cos the look so bad
Thrall with spears would push believability for me. If they're so slow that they can only wield axes with any level of potency, I can't see them hurling spears. Perhaps, as cheesy as it sounds, a prototype wight that throws bits of itself? It could reduce health as it threw, making them effective for only a short time.
Even if you had some kind of skeletal archer, whose creation ritual has been lost. So it couldn't be in the hands of Bahl'al, unless the Soulless simply made them obsolete.
: BALROOOOOGS!!!!!!!!, but i guess that probably went on
: the Cliche side of the pizza box:P I like the idea of
: Thrall spearmen, and maybe wight prototypes, or more
: varying Shades.
Wight prototypes is cool, as is a varying of Shades. They should each be unique individuals with unique powers- just like the Avatara would be.
Perhaps, as Fobo suggests, some kind of burning dead with a flame attack? Like the remains of a person who was cremated or burnt to death.
