Fir'Bolg are included in other games and legends and are considered to be a smaller species of Giant.
I don't know why Bungie didn't make them like this, seeing as I'm pretty sure they were around before Myth anyway. Maybe it just wouldn't have made the game as fun?
But they aren't Human.
