Oh, man! Was it that long ago? I bought TFL in the spring of '98... those were good times.
Anyone remember the old Asylum Nights? Some craaaazy discussion there boys. One of my favorites was about the Watcher's arm, and the bone fragments might have done to someone else (say, ohhhh, Alric).
I'm not sure, but I think I thought that he'd break out in liverspots, and spontaniously grow lovehandles...
"And the archer, being both Fir'bolg, and blind in his left eye, mistook his commander for The Watcher, and did shoot him in the back. All watched in horror as the strong Alric shrank in stature, and grew in girth, all while horrable, horrable spots sprouted upon his arms and hands. Of course, the archer did say he was sorry."
Anyway, it's kind of fun to look over the old posts. "Blast from the past", and all that rot.
