Well, we know Balor was around at least 110 years before Soulblighter died... If the comet beings the spirit of the Leveller with it, a comet coming every 1000 years would then come 890 years later at the latest, NOT 940... I think KD is right about this at least... Our narrator screwed up, and its a very easy mistake to make (I didn't catch it at all until now)
P.S. And if you buy into the bull hockey about the Myrmidons being 300 years old and all, make that 640 years, an even lower number...
