: Firstly, allow me to thank you for posting some total
: speculation. It's quite refreshing to see something of
: this nature after the past few days.
I agree.
: As for your idea, it's interesting, but it's baseless at
: large- the god Wyrd and the goddess Nyx are the only
: ones mentioned in the mythos of Myth, and they were
: neither dark nor light- they just 'were.'
That's not true. The Leveler is a "transient divinity" and the Dark Gods are also mentioned: "It is [the ghôls] alone who remember the names of the dark gods." We have b'Y'laggo as well, the bre'Unor profane elemental spirit god. And of course we have the ghôl godhead which must be the focus of worship to some sort of god. Once more, who could forget the Frankenstein Computer God from Force Ten from Stoneheim and Beyond the Clouspine :) These may in fact be a few of the Dark Gods.
: As for inhabitance, well, play M2's Shiver again, and
: then tell me that gods are motivating corpses to
: bicker and argue in such a manner, about their past
: lives as humans.
Since when did gods not bicker? Read any Greek mythology and you will see that inter-deital arguments often affected the lives of men.
: "you can cut them up, pack their body parts in
: casks of salt and bury them in the corners of the
: world, but Fallen Lords can always be brought
: back."
Nice quote, I'll have to do some research into it's existance. It sounds very similar to the section of the Myth 2 epilogue that describes the Leveler's immortality even after the diverse disposal methods of his various incarnations.
