In Response To: Re: Bahl'al and the Watcher (controversial) (Loki)

: The reality is that, according to scripture and gospel,
: the soulless, unlike the Messengers of the Culwayth or
: the Children of Bahl'al or the alien women walking in
: the skins of men, are never supplied with a genesis,
: nor any hint of a creator.

From what basis do you reap that belief.
From the Soulles flavor Text, Myth II,
"...souls stolen by sorcery, these once-human minions of The Dark"

that suggest creation does it not.

: It's foolish to assume they are Soulblighter's doing (or
: related to the dream of unlife), as soulless are as
: evident and persistent as our own universe- always
: there, everpresent, without known creation.

Excuse me while I qoute the Myth II Glossary under Soulless:
"One of Soulblighter's most successful experiments with reanimation."

: That's all- no mention of necromancy (except for the fact
: that he hold stygans, but stygans are another matter
: entirely) or anything of the sort.

: That's patently untrue- the army was described, in
: Gonen's Bridge, as "marching toward us" not
: "coming out of the keep." The pregame pic,
: unfortunately, is only of an angle towards the East,
: and shows no massed army, though something is
: definitely on the road from the East towards the
: castle.

No it's patently fact,
"This evening at our camp just outside the keep I was awakened by a low rumbling. We watched in helpless silence as a massive army of Thrall, ten abreast and a hundred deep, marched out of the main gate heading south."
Myth II journal, into the breach, it's accomanied with a picture of the army marching out of te gate, also in game if you rush to the the bailey you can see the rear end of this force.

: I don't see how it could be- that there were Thrall in M2
: is a minor point, since the entire Bahl'al = Watcher
: hypothesis was based on a pre-release website and two
: mentions of one city under siege.

I am not trying to prove Bahl'al = Watcher, mearly disprove you.

: As for anyone else creating thrall, well, that position
: as a counterproof of anything is so tenuous that it
: couldn't possibly stand- after all, there is nothing
: in evidence to say that anyone BUT Bahl'al was
: manufacturing thrall.

There is no evidence to say that he was the only one either.
