: They are the Children of Bahl'al. Bahl'al is the only one
: ever mentioned seeking the Dream of Unlife.
But that doesn't mean he's the only one who has. Presumably one also needs the Dream of Unlife to create other Undead beings such as Soulless, who's creation is credited to Soulblighter.
: The Watcher is associated with Thrall only because of
: their presence around him (just like every other
: fallen lord, especially Shiver), and the line about
: seven waves of Thrall attacking Mazzarin. He is no
: more the creator of the Thrall than Connacht is.
When you say creator of the Thrall do you assume he is the sole creator of the Thrall or the inventor.
: Furthermore, Bahl'al's actions to seek the dream of
: unlife were long, long ago, likely during or even
: before the Wind age.
What's your point?
: Are you familiar with exactly how many wars and battles
: across the globe were pointless? Lots of bloodshed for
: very little effect.
: Off the top of my head: The Battle of the Argonne Forest
: Operation Market Garden
: The Korean War
: The Vietnam Conflict
World War I, Verun Somme, and so on and on and on. But
: The fact is that the Baron was only hoarding thrall, like
: Phelot at Avon's Grove was only deciding who dies and
: who goes to Bahl'al for a 'refit.'
Excuse me but did you just say FACT, since when does it say for a FACT that the Baron was only hoarding them, please tell me exactly where it says that that is a F.A.C.T.
Also we know that dead bodies go into the keep and thousands of thrall come out. So it is quite safe to assume that whatever makes the Thrall go is in that castle. Also the armies belonging to the Baron as is stated in the qoute, "Only then will HIS army of the dead be put to rest."
: Heh. You look at a thrall and say: "Hey, a corpse
: walking around."
: I look at a thrall and say: "Hey, who gave him that
: battleax and that armor?"
Are you attempting to insult me?
: It doesn't make sense to kill the supposed 'father of the
: Thrall' in one game, then see tons of them in the
: next.
Your assuming that Bahl'al was the only person capable of creating Thrall. In the game there is no suggestion that that is the case. Once that assumption is removed your theory is severly weakened.
: When it comes down to it, the assumption is flawed,
And yours is perfect i presume.
Also your theory on the failing of corpses within sixty years is weakened in this Myth II Thrall qoute, " but also by the plunder of catacombs, crypts and cemeteries of a thousand years." The bodies of thousands of years ago were usable, why can't one of sixty years ago still be going?
