I got it working. Didn't even need to record any quicktime movies =)

Here's what you have to do...

When in Fear:

1) Double-click whichever narration file you want

2) Select the permutation in the listbox on the right, click duplicate

3) Change the name of the duplicate to whatever you want, just so long as it's different from the original (this step may or may not matter, but it's what I did and I haven't tested it any other way yet) then click OK.

4) Make 3 more duplicates, also changing the names, for a total of 5 permutations (this also may or may not matter, but again it's what I did).

5) Click OK.

6) Everything from here is basically exactly as you originally described...

Run resulting file through Head Edit converting to Myth 1

Run through ResEdit changing filetype/creator

Run through Fallen Sounds select first of the permutations that it lists in Fallen Sounds and extract that.

Fallen Sounds will only allow you to extract the first one or two of the permutations and should give the error on all of the other ones, but since they're the same anyway, all you need is one. Apparently Fallen Sounds (or Head Edit, or something somewhere through this process) corrupts the second half or so of anything over a certain file size, so duplicating the sound within Fear and then saving it apparently pushes that corruption back far enough to get at the original sound.

Then of course Soundapp, etc, and you're done.

Again, thanks for the help! =)
