: To be fair, Gower is completely wiped out with the
: exception of Yursgrad, and even that would have fallen
: if it hadn't been for the fact that the Great Hero of
: the age happened to live there.
: Perhaps it can also be assumed that the Krids weren't so
: numerous in the Gower area as they might have been in,
: say, The Downs, simply because human settlements were
: rarer and the people living in them more capable of
: putting up a fight than the citizens of Llancarfan.
: After all, if you were a Krid, you'd want to be where
: the easiest meat was to be found.
If you were a 'krid, I don't think you would really care either way, seeing as how there are, erm, how many miles was it again between Gower and the Downs? And in response to Seraph's idea that the 'krids would have wiped out humans, or at least kept their population too small to develop into a big civilization such as that of the Cath Bruig Empire, I see no reason why the 'krids couldn't have merely been living in a completely different area of the world from where the Cath Bruig were, up until the point when Moagim comes along and herds them in that general direction.
But that's just me. =) Welcome back, Seraphy! I missed being sarcastic at you. ::tears:: ;)
Dom!
