In Response To: Re: Gah! An unforseen problem =( (B-Sharp)

: I assume Head Edit is converting the M2SB sound to a TFL
: sound file so that then I can use it with The Fallen
: Sounds, etc... exporting it just like I'd do with any
: standard TFL sound. So anyhow, my guess is that since
: this is working just fine for the TFL sounds and not
: the M2 sounds, Head Edit must be screwing something up
: when it converts to a TFL sound file... But then I'm
: not sure why it'd work for any of the other in game
: sounds and not the narration, unless Head Edit chokes
: on files over a certain size (I think the smallest
: narration file was like 1.3mb).

: Or heck, maybe M2SB Narration files are just messed up to
: begin with.

Yeah, I forgot about this problem. The technique works for everything but Myth 2 narrations. I actually thought it was a problem unique to me but it seems not. I'm not sure what the problem is but since the tracks only mess up after the narration part has finished I'm thinking it's not a header problem as that would mean the files wouldn't be recognised at all. Maybe it's the large file corruption part that's the problem.

: Well whatever the case, I'll poke around for something
: else to convert the sounds to see if that works...
: otherwise, any more suggestions?

The thing is, I don't think there is anything else. I'll have to look around. Sorry.
