: Well... we do know Fetch have horns, and that they bleed,
: which would suggest that they have physical bodies,
: but your core point is correct. There's nothing that
: we've seen about the Myrkrydia that suggests that they
: are anything other than natural creatures. Sorcerously
: warped in some cases, and covered in fangs and claws,
: yes, but the "from another dimension" part
: does seem to be rather unnecessary.
Simple fact though.
If the Myrkridia were/are native the Myth world, this is a possible problem...the Myrkridia would have so utterly dominated that something like the Cath Bruig Empire would never have been able to exist. Admitedly, I could be wrong, but based on how strong they are in Myth II versus your normal units, there would be no way it would have been possible.
Which is one small problem I have with Myth 3. Somehow, although the Cath Bruig are forced back to Llancarfan and the Downs, even though they have a (presumably) professional standing army that is the best in the world of Myth, Gower, with spearmen and berserks is able to survive. Someone got an explaination for that?
Admitedly, I don't really mind, but it makes for an interesting arguement if anyone minds taking up the other end.
