I'd say Myth III was good by normal standards, but didn't/doesn't make the cut to be a great game compared to Myth I and II. Preticularly the story. It would be quite good if it didn't have such epic competition.
Myth I, to me, is how good fantasy should feel.
Myth II, is a good sequel but its not as epic.
Myth III, tries to do too much for one game to manage to get the right feel.
That's just my thoughts, and not the facts. Although its a safe bet that my thoughts and the facts are second cousins twice removed and in line to the throne of the Hapsberg Empire...that's true of most royalty...uh...thoughts.
