: Recently, I had read the novel "IT" by Stephen
: King. 'Tis about seven children fighting IT, a ghost
: which represents ultimate evil, something like a dark
: god who came from another world to feed in ours. So
: (that's really weird), the true form of IT in our
: world is giant spider. IT also have children, little
: spiders just like itself. Now, open the Myth III
: manual and read about Skykrosh: a dark god who came
: from another world, emerges in a form of giant spider
: in the world of Myth, multiply very fast, wants to
: consume the world e.t.c. Maybe 'tis only my
: imagination, Myth traditionnaly drives its ideas from
: scandinavian mythology and classic fantasy novels
: (Tolkien, Glen Cook), definteley not from Stephpen
: King, but....
: Knight o' Death.
: P.S. Someone found other connections 'tween Myth and
: Stephen King?
Speaking of Tolkien, remember the spiders in The Hobbit. If I had to place money on it, that's where I would say your spider gods come from.
