: Or maybe we're not giving MJ enough credit. Maybe the
: tomb itself is a reflection of the state of Mazzarin's
: mind; the statement "I am no longer a slave to
: the forces of light and darkness" might be
: considered ironic. Clearly Mazzarin is very much still
: a part of the great cycle as the conflict between
: loyal Stygians, lyche, astral travellers and the
: forces of light rages throughout his crumbling haunt.
: Even at the climax of the cutscene Mazzarin changes
: the fate of the Cath Bruig empire with his magic.
: Again, this may be MJs' explanation for Mazzarin in
: myth tfl; he's just totally deluded.
As I said, I think Mazzarin was corrupted by Bahl'al before, and the proof is that the shades by themselves are creations of evil. Mazzarin is a shade, that means that he lies to Connacht about not being bound to light vs. darkness cycle.
Knight o' Death.
P.S. But maybe MJ are just mistaking. Errata homo est.
