I think you're referring to the battle at Charm. Honestly, I don't want to give it away. Read the rest of the series, things get really interesting (okay, so the Silver Spike wasn't very good, read it anyway). If you really want me to spoil it for you, e-mail me. I don't want to ruin the surprise by putting this stuff on a forum.
