: I think Grey was right 'bout that the fallen lords were
: entombed for many years. I had read
: "somewere" ;-) that Myth has many refernces
: to Glen Cooks' Black Company series. In BC (a.k.a
: Black Company) the "Taken" (sorceror
: generals similiar to the "Fallen" in Myth)
: were entombed for many centuries with the Lady (if
: someone don't knows he read more in "relics"
: section) and were awoken by a sorceror called Bomanz.
: Knight o' Death.
: P.S. About ressurections. 'Tis very hard to kill the
: "taken" for they're very vital.I think the
: "fallen" were PERSUMED dead till they
: returned again after many years.
Myth has similarities to BC, it isn't directly based on BC. It has it's own story, in case you haven't noticed... The Deceiver has no evidence whatsoever, that he dies before SB. Also, as you don't seem to have noticed, entombment does not equal death. The Watcher was essentially entombed somewhere in silvermines, and yet he seems to have remained alive for the entire duration.
: P.P.S. Have you forgot? Soulblighter ressurected Shiver
: with Tramist's Mirror, a VERY POWERFUL artifact which
: returned Shiver to her former self image (a.k.a.
: Ravanna) only in very aged form "a grotesque
: crone".
Okay, one exception to the full-ressurection idea, and that's still pretty darn hard, I'd say. Even so, it doesn't change the fact that she could well have been alive from the time of Connacht to the time of Balor.
