Jesus people. We ALREADY have an effective aristocratic oligarchy. The real power, economic power, is in the hands of the very few, who got there by being better than anyone else... at ripping everybody off. (Or are children of such people). Politics have much less effect on the everyday lives of Joe and Jane Blow than do economics, and economics affect politics at least as much as the other way around, likely even more.
The "best form of government" would be anarcho-socialism, but that's too easy for people to screw up, and since people are quite for from perfect it doesn't exactly work.
