: Without a definition of an ancient evil, it's going to be
: hard to argue this, but Soulblighter was probably
: barely one thousand years old. (Unless your theory
: about working for Moagim originally is correct, but
: there's no evidence for that.) Would this qualify as
: ancient by Myth standards?

I would think so. Do you consider a thousand years to be ancient? Do you think avarage Mythworlders, who seems to have normally Human lifespans, would? I'm taking an "ancient history" class and I'm up to the 1200s, less than 1000 years ago (though that era's name MEANS "middle age", as in between old age and new age. Textbooks are stupid; my old Health book always said "viruses". augh!).

Lacking a definition of ancient evil, I would say that it means someone who was evil a long time ago, and 500 years could be considered ancient by the technology level of Mythworlders (they don;t exactly have digital libraries).

: I've always been a big supporter of the
: Shiver=Bonesplitter theory, but there are things about
: it that bug me. For instance, Shiver's primary attack
: is the whisper dream. This sounds voiceless to me.
: However, her looks and blind agression support the
: Bonesplitter theory.

I'm rather torn between the two. If only we knew her age and how long she's been evil, that would easily solve things.
