Does it have a hood? A hood is necessary for a garment to be a cloak, and though a hood is not necessary for a garment to be a mantle, a mantle does not look anything like a cape, whereas a cloak sort of does. Thus: if it looks like a cape, and has no hood, then it's probably a cape, don't you think? And even so - don't you think that Balor's still the Leveller right before you kill him in TFL? He doesn't have any outer garment such as a cloak, cape, or mantle on at the time, and yet...
