: Some minor, almost nit picking corrections.

: One) It has been -sixty- years since the Great War.
: And Alric may look old, but he's almost as good with that
: sword as the battle mad berserks less than half his
: age.

: Two) In the Middle Ages (Which is basically what the Myth
: world is, besides the magic) living that long was
: hard. Good doctors? In this time period? *breaks into
: hysterical laughter* Still, I suppose it wasn't so
: much people couldn't...as people -didn't- live that
: long.

This is a fictional world, Seraph. In the Middle Ages, people who lived to be 40 were considered about as old as we consider people who live to be 100 today. Myth people obviously have much better health than normal middle ages people. And, if you exercise a lot, and keep a very good diet, you can easily be as spry at 70-some, or even into 80-some, as your average 30-some year old; and Alric, being an Avatara (who were supposed to be masters of magic AND the sword), would probably have done training in swordsmanship more or less every day since the Great War. Practicing swordsmanship also requires your entire body stay in shape (I fence, so trust me on this. Fencers have to do a LOT of conditioning), so he would also exercise outside of the normal training. I'm sure the fact that he was a great Savior had a great affect on his health and aging, of course (I'm betting Connacht was pretty darn old before he became Balor); After all, a savior has to live a LONG time before he gets "possessed" by the Leveller. I'm just saying that Alric by himself doesn't make a good example of prolonging one's own life through one's own magic.
