They don't seem to enjoy fighting (look at Seven Gates - they abandon the Great War for around twenty years or so). Also, as Guilherme pointed out earlier, and has been mentioned innumerable times before, the forest giants are somewhat based off of the Ents of Tolkien fame, and the Ents, as you'll prbly remember, hated fighting, and war, etc, etc. Finally, the FG's would also be somewhat redundant, speaking in terms of game play, in M2, as you already have the Trow to be "equal" with the MG's.
