: doesn't become the leader of the Worlocks becasue he
: can;t be possesed, he's corrupted, thrown out and then
: joins the 2nd most powerful magic group, rises through
: the ranks due to his power and becomes leader.
: The reason i say that Mjarin has a choice is that so far
: all those who became the Leveller become possesed by
: him were dead, it makes sense that the original soul
: of the body has to be gone before the Leveller takes
: its place. Thus there isn't any room for more soul in
: Mjarin, so death is a precondition of being the
: Leveller.
: The Leveller spirit obviously has to wait to take a new
: body, presumably as he approaches the peak of his
: power, or otherwise he'd hop right out of one body and
: into the next dead mage. And obviously with the
: exception of possesing dead the Leveller spirit is
: fairly powerless without a body or he wouldn't spend
: all that time hanging around he'd be killing things
: with his mighty strength.
: After consideration i'll make a bit of a change to the
: theory, instead of speaking one on one with the
: Leveller, the Leveller whispers in his ears for a few
: hundred years (not literally of course, i mean it as
: the Leveller slowly changed his thoughts by being a
: malevolent presense around him.). When Mjarin figures
: out he's next for being the Leveller and really
: doesn't like the idea of being decapitated, or burnt
: at a stake or torn apart he pieces Moagim back
: together, and the Leveller takes that option because
: Moagim was either more available or more powerful. So
: Moagim sods off on a killing spree while Mjarin uses
: Moagims war as a way of gaining control.

Connacht, Connacht, Connacht! look at Connacht! He did so many things to avoid becoming the Leveller (obviously not wanting it), and yet, even though he was alive, even though he didn't want to, the Leveller possesses him! You don't have a choice in the matter! And, what more, if it was true that the Leveller could possess the dead, then why didn't it possess Mazzarin, the most powerful Avatara of all time! His death wouldn't have caused a problem, if that was true, yet the Leveller does not, suggesting that it can't possess those that have died. In fact, as has been suggested many times before, I believe that the Leveller does not actually "possess" the person, but merely corrupts the person to see things differently than he saw them before. The Leveller spirit does not make the decisions, the person does!
