: No you have to be possesed to be the Leveller. And he
: doesn't become the leader of the Worlocks becasue he
: can;t be possesed, he's corrupted, thrown out and then
: joins the 2nd most powerful magic group, rises through
: the ranks due to his power and becomes leader.
This wasn't clear from your original theory, so there.
: The reason i say that Mjarin has a choice is that so far
: all those who became the Leveller become possesed by
: him were dead, it makes sense that the original soul
: of the body has to be gone before the Leveller takes
: its place. Thus there isn't any room for more soul in
: Mjarin, so death is a precondition of being the
: Leveller.
Hmm, two things. Where does it say the Connacht died before becoming Balor, or for that matter any other Leveller. Going out into the East and disappearing does not constitute death (well, maybe for most normal people). Also, are you saying Mjarin was able to prolong his life indefinately? As a result of being a warlock or just naturally?
: The Leveller spirit obviously has to wait to take a new
: body, presumably as he approaches the peak of his
: power, or otherwise he'd hop right out of one body and
: into the next dead mage. And obviously with the
: exception of possesing dead the Leveller spirit is
: fairly powerless without a body or he wouldn't spend
: all that time hanging around he'd be killing things
: with his mighty strength.
Wow, you contradicted yourself in the same sentence there. First you say the Leveller needs to be at the peak of its power before he can take form, but then go on to say without a body, he is powerless...
: After consideration i'll make a bit of a change to the
: theory, instead of speaking one on one with the
: Leveller, the Leveller whispers in his ears for a few
: hundred years (not literally of course, i mean it as
: the Leveller slowly changed his thoughts by being a
: malevolent presense around him.). When Mjarin figures
: out he's next for being the Leveller and really
: doesn't like the idea of being decapitated, or burnt
: at a stake or torn apart he pieces Moagim back
: together, and the Leveller takes that option because
: Moagim was either more available or more powerful. So
: Moagim sods off on a killing spree while Mjarin uses
: Moagims war as a way of gaining control.
Yeah, that's much better. If you rewrite your original theory and correct the typos, I'll probably post it to the site. Hmm, I haven't had a debate like this in a while.
