: Hello,
: Other interesting thing about avataras is that they dont
: really use magic, instead, they use their skills to
: "activate" the dream stones, so they need
: soem stones to support, not like warlocks.
That, I believe, was a GURPS "fact," which, of course, cannot be used as canon. Thus it is unclear whether the Dream was an artifact, or something learned, though many would say that to have access to Dreams, one must first obtain artifacts. I remain as yet undecided in this area, however, I thought it best to point it out.
: BTW, I the Mauls weren't in TFL but existed, what are ya
: talking about Warlocks don't being in TFL, anyways,
: they could be working backgrounds with the watcher, we
: don't get to see the deepness of the dark's army in
: TFL.
We're not saying that they didn't exist, we're saying that either: (a) like the Mauls, were totally uninvolved in the Great War, or (b) did participate in the Great War, but were not seen in TFL. Also: They are allies of the Deceiver. They would not work for the Watcher (would you work for your ally's enemies?), nor would the Watcher wish to have them in his army (would you want to be surrounded by your enemy's allies?)
: And for the fir'bolg, my opinion is that they are just
: skilled HUMAN "rangers" that evolved their
: own culture and that kinda stuff.
GURPS, though, as I just said, it is not canon material, has itself stated that fir'Bolg are NOT human. The game also seems to point in that direction. Thus, I believe that most people agree that they are, indeed, not human. Also, with such a general fact as that is, I would be more inclined to believe GURPS, as there does not appear to be much evidence in the game to support an opposing opinion.
