Why would they point this out? Myth TFL is relatively lax about linking names and titles of the Fallen; Shiver and The Deceiver's real names are not given either, and Soulblighter's real name is only hinted at. And The Watcher doesn't even appear in Myth II, so it would be a little out of place for the narrator to say, "By the way, The Watcher's real name was Bahl'al, in case you were wondering."
Or I can take the easy way out and say that Bungie hasn't said it explicitly because they don't need to; it's so BLINDINGLY obvious to me and everyone else with an IQ over 5,000. But somehow I don't think that argument is very convincing. :)
