Most of the Story folk knew each other from back when we were run like the Marathon Story Page: the admins had to take each email we got and post it to the appropriate page with credits. Then we started to slack a lot and most people just chatted about the story on IRC #myth. Eventually we got a forum and all the old posters and chatters came here and continued the conversation.
That, and we lost the oldest of the archives. I've still got them in an old email client of mine somewhere.

Which three people were those? Pie-rat, ig98 and Cyril? Pie and ig98 ran what little there was of myth.bungie.org before Nontoxic executed a reverse takeover on them, bringing in Joshstar and I. ig98 was ousted after some scandal or another. Cyril was a temp we hired while Pie was on vacation. Pie eventually left too, and I was back running the site (well, I really only "ran" L&L back at Nontoxic, and even that was just co-ran with Trib and Weevil, and to some extent Orange and Lacrymosa from Myth's Story Page). Joshstar, of course, was the head honcho of Myth Nontoxic.
