nb... (don't take it the wrong way, I never, Ever say extremes like "great!" or "excellent!" ('specially not about my own work. I'm too much of a perfectionist for my own good))
Suggestion: Flesh (as in the part of the body that becomes the kind of meat that most people (especially Americans) eat) ismuscle... so saying "flesh and muscle" is a little redundant. "flesh and bone" may be a better substitute, and it's a more common phrasing of the effect I think you're trying to achieve...
Mud=Pure??? That's a different approach...
