Just try repeating the phrase: "I will not bite off the newbie's head, I will not bite off the newbie's head" over and over when you see a post of something obvious. I know that when I started posting here, I was sort of nervous about having my head chewed off, and so I was being incredibly stiff during my first post. That may be attributable to the fact that it was my first time posting in ANY forum, but that's beside the point.
