The thing with newbies and posting info is that there new. The thought may be if I post something people know is right then I won't look like an ass. Fortunately for me before I started posting here full time I had one post months back stating Claymors were used to chop off horses heads, it was simple, slightly myth related, and not everyone knew it. I had a lot of practice in MWA forums, I had observed this forum for a while, thus I had a developed a knack at discussion.
However most newbies will lack two things vital to becoming a long time member, one knowledge, they may have only played one game (hell when I first came here I Had only played 6 levels of Myth II, fortunately I had picked stuff up from MWA and red the Journals.) and the skill of discussion, logically figuring things out. We can Direct them to the knowledge and by seeing how we do it can pick up debate skills.
