In Response To: trow and dreams (Gothmog)

: someone mentioned a while back that the trow may have
: used calliach magic to sink yer'ks. well i was
: wondering if trow would be smart enough to actually
: harness some of the more potent dreams that were being
: used,ie the one that may or may not have sunken
: yer-ks, and the one that sunk si'annwon.

Their priests use Dreams (or they're called Dreams, at least) in Myth III.

: ps. what exactly is a "dream" is it like an
: artifact that can be used to cast a spell, or is it a
: spell written and memorized and if so, how were they
: "found" by the calliach?

It's a bit of both, actually. You find a runestone or something (*shoots GRUPS in the butt, however we[Besides Forrest] don't know through Bungie*)which is like an artifact, and then you learn the Disperal Dream say, and remember it.

: and also,if they are artifacts, than are they passed on
: from father to son.

They're probably keep by the Avatara and other similarly high level magic groups. I suppose if I had a runestone I might keep it in the family if possible, though.

: and finally,if the dreams are what made the world and
: there are 49(?) dreams, then are there any known
: dreams for actual creation, and not only destruction.

Known? Probably in GRUPS if anywhere. I don't know of any, personally.
: Gothmog

You're asking some really good questions, Gothmog.
Seriously, I think its interesting to have Dreams brought up, although Gholsbane and Zeph probably know enough about them to actually cast them, and Forrest almost certainly does...so my answers are not likely to be as good as their's.
*gives you the Good Question award*
