: i might be wrong but i think that instead of the land
: being actually sunken which i agree is cheezy, that
: the land of yer'ks could be a swamp or place similar
: to venice where there are canals and that all of the
: land is built on stilts in the swamps and that the
: skrael live there in cities, and the reason no one
: knows about the cities and they never leave is because
: they do not wish to(maybe they cannot reproduce, like
: trow and therefore don't want to fight battles) and
: because men and others don't think that anyone can
: live there and all who have ventured in have perished
: in the swamps or been killed by skrael who don't want
: to be discovered.
: i think this is perfectly legitamate because if the
: skrael are reptilian, then they would be able to
: withstand the conditions of swamps that humans cannot
: and the land could be like this because we never fight
: battles or even see the area in any levels(except
: maybe dead mans float/chest?)
Let me introduce you to a useful new invention: it's called, the period - it looks like this "." =) (take a breath!)

PS: I personally find the idea of an actually sunken kingdom, though perhaps a little implausible, possible. After all, somebody sank si'anwon, and maybe that somebody had the power to do it to a whole lot more than just a city. If you study the M1/M2 maps, it makes some sense. There's that mountain range in the north, that ends just east of Yer-Ks, which has a border of islands; those islands could conceivably be a continuation of that mountain range, after sinking into the ocean (somehow). Perhaps one of the times that Tarsis erupted, or a comet hit the earth, there was a whole lot of tectonic shifting in that area, or something, if you're looking for a non-magical explanation.
