They were reptilian beings who live in the Deep Mire, and claim Yer-Ks as their own. I think they were supposed to have a role in TFL, but were never implemented.

They are one of the younger races, so I'd say they are of Wyrd.

I doubt that, but since we have no idea what the Calliach looked like it is possible. I remember reading somewhere (Maybe GURPS Myth) that the Trow may have destroyed the Human Kingdome of Yer-Ks by useing a fragment of Calliach magic, so maybe that had some interesting side affects?
