Says who? We are never given any definition of "ancient evil", so we have to take it for what it literally means: someone who was evil a long time ago. Not neccesarily in another millenium, just a long time ago.

The Leveller dies every millenuim, yes. New Eras (which is the word I think you mean) begin when a Hero or Leveller arises. When Connacht arose, the Wind Age and the 6th Era began. Then he killed Moagim. When Balor arose, the Wolf Age began. When Alric arose, the Sword Age and the 7th Era began. Then he killed Balor. And so on.

I say that it is obvious, not a fact. Since we never hear anything about them in all of Myth or Myth II, they must have died before the War in the West began, otherwise we would hear about them sacking this or that city or killing this or that avatara.

I hope you mean Alric, cause if not, that ruins the credibility of your whole post. I'll assume you mean Alric. And it is possible that they never even approached the West, and that Alric killed them later on when he hunted down the remaining Fallen. But I find that unlikely, because if they were back east, they should have done something to protect Balor when Alric came charging with all the rest of the Legion to kill Balor in his own fortress.
