Now Im sure this is a GURPS thing but basically they don't. I'd discard this as a GURPS thing but, like several GURPS and Myth III things I accept it because it makes sense. Why were the Trow defeated? Because slowly after years upon years upon years of wars their numbers were slowly depleted until they were ripe to fall.
