In Response To: Re: The head in myth tfl (Rodrigo Mataskavens)

: for me, the head is mjarin, as myth 3 states. dont mind
: if u dont like myth 3, i think they made a good theory
: after a intensive exam of all the facts and answered
: many questions that many dont like to be solved or
: that deny without real reasons.

First: We are not saying MWA is bad. I personally have yet to play it, but I've been told that it is in truth, a fairly good game (single-player, anyway). We are just aware that MWA is NOT canon, as it was not created by the original writers of Myth I and II. Thus, not everything can be accepted as fact, and certainly not over facts stated by Myth I and II canonical material (journal briefings, flavors, descriptions in manual, etc.)

Second: I do believe that MWA was the first place to ever introduce a person called "Mjarin." Thus, it is likely that the original writers of Myth both (A) did not mean the head to be Mjarin, as the character of Mjarin had not yet been created, and that (B) Mjarin was also likely not who the creators of Myth I and II had in mind for the Leveller during the time of Connacht (when he not yet Balor). [I threw the second part out there just for any die-hard believers in Mjarin's "leveller-ship"]

So if you think otherwise, TOUGH BEANS! unless you'd like to respond, of course...
