Aye, because Souly would ahve found him when the West was in ruins. Balor hates the Myrkridia - he probably would have viewed the Summoner as some unholy abommination and killed him. Maybe the Summoner wouldn't have even been able to do something, as it's quite possible OSulblighter was digging up the Tain on his own initiative, for his own purposes.
Soulblighter, however is just so...EVIL, that he doesn't care about the horror the Myrkridia inflicted on his folk - other than the fact that they could do it again if ressurected. In fact, as Soulblighter he probably admire dtheir Wind Age antics.
