That's exactly my point. They shouldn't have tried to answer everything since that would need more mysteries. However, everything they answered would have required too much new stuff so the answer should have been to still leave the classic mysteries alone such as the Head. The only way they could have done that is by changing the setting of Myth 3.
All M3 does is answer questions. And those answers are only Andrew Meggs' interpretation of them. Nothing new is added in Myth 3 to get excited about. It's not a problem of contradiction it's simply a matter of the lack of creativity. But I admint, I wouldn't have agreed with anything new they added either. None the less, I would have been more willing to accept it as a game in its own right.
In my opinion, Myth 3 should not have been. If MJ wanted to do a Myth-like project, they should have written their own story.
