Well, it seeems that in Bungie's eyes it is.

I must step in and say that had M2 been developed by MJ, BUT with EXACTLY the same plot as M2 by Bungie, you owuld be saying the same thing - TFL easilly had the most mystery about it.
MJ couldn't realistically spawn a new world of mysteries, it would just have gotten silly, ahving to resort to "Mazzarin, please tell us of the beginings of the world na dthe mysteries of the Leveller and the Cycle in a chunky prose-like cutscene!"
