What if he hasn't? If he's new to the series, do you really expect him to have started now with TFL?
And as for your grammar/spelling issue...many people on the internet don't speak English as a first language, and as long as I can understand what people mean, and they don't type it like "OMG U R S0 GR33T B4L0R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I don't mind.
